What does this scan measure?
ZEISS IOLMaster 700 uses swept-source OCT to scan structures along the visual axis — producing biometry values fed into IOL formulas (Barrett, Kane, etc.).
What happens during the test
Non-contact scan — look at a fixation target; the device captures in seconds per eye. Results feed surgeon review and patient counselling on lens type.
Why it matters before surgery
